Gullfoss Falls is a stunning waterfall located in Hvítá river canyon in Southwest Iceland. With two sections of cascading water, the fall plunges 32 meters (105 feet) in total and surrounds visitors with natural beauty and power. It's an integral part of the renowned Golden Circle sightseeing route together with Geysir geothermal area and Þingvellir National Park, and is often hailed as Iceland’s first environmentalist. Visitors can even enjoy refreshments at Gullfoss Cafe, which serves a wide variety of meals and has a shop where traditional Icelandic souvenirs can be purchased!
