San Gimignano is a small walled medieval hill town in Tuscany, Italy. Located about halfway between Florence and Siena, it is known for its medieval architecture, including its many towers. The town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a popular tourist destination. It is also known for its white wine, Vernaccia di San Gimignano.
