Kathleen Lake Campground is located centrally in Kluane National Park and Reserve in the Yukon. Kathleen lake has crystal clear water with stunning mountain views, truly an iconic Yukon location. The campground is tucked away in the woods beside the lake (which is ideal because it can get windy) but provides easy access to the lake and surrounding hiking trails such as Kings Throne. I highly recommend going for a dip in the cold lake to wake you up in the morning 😉

Amenities: The campground has a variety of sites, including tent, RV, and group sites. Amenities includes

  • fire pits

  • picnic tables

  • wood bins

  • bear proof lockers(for food) and garbages

  • outhouses

  • there are also trails for hiking, fishing, and canoeing

  • you can rent an "oTENTik" which are basically a hybrid of a tent and cabin that offer a "glamping" experience. You can rent it on the Parks Canada website

Tip: Camp spots are first come first serve so arrive at in the morning to have a better selection of sites. It tends to fill up on the weekends.

The campground is open from May to September.
