Fox Lake Campground is one of the nearest campground outside of Whitehorse, Yukon. People really enjoy it for boating. I personally don't love this campgrounds because it tends to be full of rv's and I'm travelling to Dawson I'd rather stay at the smaller more secluded campgroud along the way. There are 43 individual camping sites and 9 pull-through sites to cater to all types of campers. The lake's Southern Tutchone name, Kwätän 'ayä, refers to the creek that branches off into the bush and lends itself to activities like boating, canoeing and spotting the local wildlife. Amenities include bear-proof garbage bins, blue bear proof recycling bins, picnic tables, fire ring, boat launch, boat dock, playground, and more for visitors to take advantage of. Enjoy the outdoors and take in the pristine views of this stunning region.
