Gara Rock Beach, also known as Seacombe Sands, is a hidden gem on the South Devon coast. Tucked away between Prawle Point and the Salcombe-Kingsbridge Estuary, this unspoilt sandy cove is a favorite among locals and tourists alike.

Parking is at the Gara Rock Hotel and the walk down to the beach can be a bit steep and uneven, but it's totally worth it once you reach the bottom. Just make sure you don’t forget anything in the car!

With its secluded feel and stunning rock formations, Gara Rock Beach is perfect place for a beach day, or just quick pit stop if you’re hiking the coast path. There can be a bit of swell here, but on a calm day, it’s the perfect place for paddle boarding the crystal clear waters.

Plus, it's dog-friendly all year round, so you can bring your furry friend along for a scenic coastal adventure. Just be sure to pack everything you need, as there are no facilities on-site.
