Svartisen is the second-largest glacier on mainland Norway, located 60 km north of Mo i Rana. It offers breathtaking views and plenty of nature-based activities for exploration. Visitors can take a boat ride across Svartisvatnet and follow it with 3 km hike to the glacier’s edge, or take a leisurely 20 minute boat ride over Austerdalsisen Glacier. For those looking for an adventure, there are 18 km-long trails around the lake or near the shore atop Engenbreen glacier tongue.
