Kjeungskjæret Fyr is a unique and unforgettable experience, located on the coast of Norway. This 66-foot tall structure consists of a deep red, octagonal lighthouse that has been helping fishermen and sea travelers navigate since 1880. The cast-iron lantern room was built to withstand all types of weather conditions. Inside, if visitors decide to stay longer, they can rent the lighthouse keeper's apartment with enough room for several people. At this majestic location, one can get close to abundant birdlife, marvel at magical views, and take in the surrounding Trøndelag region. Hurtigruten passes Kjeungskjær lighthouse on its way between the ports of call of Trondheim and Rørvik, providing a perfect opportunity to witness this breathtaking site.
