Lom Stave Church is a stunning medieval building located in Fossbergom, Norway. It dates back to the 11th century and was constructed using a unique stave, or wooden post, style. The building's exterior, covered in a richly colored tar, still displays its original dragon head decorations with remarkable longevity. Inside, the cruciform design of the church features the old vaulted ceiling and a chancel decorated in 1608. Lom Stave Church is among the oldest examples of this kind of building, as well as a Norwegian Cultural Heritage Site recognized for its architectural significance.
