Hike

Message from Johan Haugsrud

Located in the breathtaking Geirangerfjord, Norway, the Skageflå hike is an experience like no other. This challenging but rewarding trek offers stunning glimpses of awe-inspiring nature as you make your way around the near-vertical cliffs that line the fjord. With a bit of Norwegian know-how, visitors can get to the perfect starting point by taking the Geirangerfjord Ferry Service from Geiranger town. After a 300 m, 45 minute climb up the sheer cliff face, you'll find yourself standing atop Skageflå Farm with its long history dating back to medieval times and even more stunning views of the fjord ahead of you. Enjoy your well-deserved reward, hop back on the ferry, or take the gradual 5km descent to Geiranger for an all-encompassing journey through Norway’s most majestic natural wonder.
