Have you ever been somewhere where you feel like you could be in a fairy-tale? Well, Switzerland can definitely do this to you. Imagine a valley, where every direction you look there are waterfalls cascading off the sides of mountains, cows grazing, and Swiss Cottages dotting the rolling hills. Really, it is straight out of painting and difficult to explain until you see if for yourself.

This hotel is the perfect location to explore the area. Some of the rooms have amazing views of the waterfalls in the valley.

Wengen is a mountain village in the Bernese Oberland of central Switzerland. Part of the Jungfrauregion.

The village is renowned for its traditional charm and preserved alpine character, offering a unique blend of modern amenities and century-old structures. Wengen is also a car-free village, which contributes to its serene and unspoiled atmosphere. Transportation within the village is primarily by foot, with electric taxis and cogwheel trains available for longer distances.

Wengen is a beautiful mountain village in Switzerland located at 1274 meters (4180 feet) above sea level. It is part of the Jungfrauregion and has a population of around 1,300 year-round residents, which swells to about 5,000 or 10,000 in summer and winter respectively. An alpine farming village untouched by roads, Wengen offers its visitors a tranquil atmosphere and some of the most stunning scenery in the Alps. Notable attractions include the famous Lauberhorn ski races - held since 1930 - as well as the Wengernalpbahn train system which runs to the village from Lauterbrunnen. Additionally, the cable car link between Wengen and Männlichen provides phenomenal views of the surrounding scenery. Visiting Wengen truly makes for an unforgettable experience!
