Lake Lucerne is a beautiful and captivating lake in Central Switzerland, the fourth largest in the country. It is known for its picturesque views, with its steep shores rising into mountains up to 1,500 meters above the lake. The lake's complicated shape includes several sharp bends and four arms - Urnersee, Gersauer Becken, Buochser Bucht, and Vitznauer Bucht — joined in the center by a narrow opening between the Unter Nas and Ober Nas of the Bürgenstock Mountain. Visitors can explore the area around Lake Lucerne through boat rides stopping at charming towns and villages on the shoreline, and circular train tours passing through Arth-Goldau. There are many activities to enjoy in and around the lake such as watersports, diving, and fishing. It is the perfect destination for couples, families, and adventurers!
