Dean Village is a historic village located on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Scotland. Nestled in a valley alongside the Water of Leith river, this charming village is more than 800 years old and evokes a sense of nostalgia for its bygone days of flour milling success. Its steep inclines and meandering paths bring visitors of all ages to explore its tranquil oasis. The area has been restored and redeveloped over the years, and now provides desirable residential living in the city as well as scenic walks along the Water of Leith Walkway. Dean Village is also home to many well-known people, and is known to feature in various literary works. Whether it’s visiting the National Museum to take a peek at some of the painted ceiling from Dean House, or just admiring the view of the spectacularly designed Dean Bridge, there is something magical to be found in Dean Village.
