Howick Historical Village is a living history museum offering visitors an immersive experience that recreates Auckland in the period from 1840 to 1880. Situated on 7 acres of grounds and heritage gardens, the museum has over 30 buildings, each filled with authentic furniture and textiles. During Halloween, visitors can explore the grounds after dark for a spooky 'Festival of Frights'.
