Spectacular Fiordland Bridge

Waterfall

Message from Ashley Elliott

Note. The bridge was washed away in flooding a few years ago and yet to be rebuilt. This is still a pleasant walk but the view over the chasm is blocked by fencing.

The Chasm Viewing Bridge is a spectacular sight to behold in the Fiordland National Park near Milford Sound. With views of the turbulent Cleddau River, this short and immersive walk offers adventure seekers a chance to witness and explore the wonders of nature. The bridge spans the winding chasm, providing clear views of potholes carved by the river and dense rainforest. By traversing the bridge visitors can bask in the sounds of the crashing waters and sheer beauty of the gorge, capturing captivating photos as well as memories that will last a lifetime.
