Mangemangeroa Reserve is an award-winning park located at 108 Somerville Road, Howick. It is recognised as a Premier Park and its remarkable coastal forest is home to a variety of native trees, ferns, birds, and fungi. There are well signposted and maintained walks along the estuary from Sandspit Road to Hayley Lane that provide visitors with stunning views of the dramatic estuarine landscape. Every Wednesday, volunteers meet at the container next to the white barn for weeding, and semi-annual planting days are hosted by partners Rotary and Forest & Bird. All visitors to Mangemangeroa Reserve can experience a memorable exploration into Auckland's natural beauty.
