Bryggen in Bødal is an awe inspiring, historical site with a long story to tell. Located in Bergen, Norway, it was part of the Hanseatic League's trading empire from the 14th to the mid-16th century. Throughout its existence, the area has suffered multiple fires, and yet the characteristic wooden houses still stand strong today. Visitors can explore the remaining 62 buildings, all which adorn the old townscape. Moreover, the intricate details of the site have naturally preserved the increasing economic and cultural importance of the site over time. Nowadays, Bryggen serves as an invaluable tourist attraction for travelers, who love soaking up its rich history while admiring the picturesque architecture.
