At the opposite end of Skólvörðustígur street in downtonw Reykjavík is a gorgeous rainbow painted on the road. The rainbow was created to celebrate Pride in Iceland and people loved in so much that the city decided to keep it all year long.
This part of Skólvörðustígur is now only for pedestrians, so feel free to walk on the road and get in a great shot of the rainbow road with the beautiful Hallgrímskirkja church in the background.
