Cross a symbolic bridge named after Leifur Ericsson. This bridge "between continents" shows that Iceland lies on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, which is where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are slowly pulling apart.
Because most of North America is on the North American tectonic plate and a lot of Europe is on the Eurasian tectonic plate, this bridge shows that you can "walk" between continents. It's a fun way of showcasing fascinating geology in Iceland.
Make sure to get a picture of you "holding up" the bridge during your visit.
