Visit this vibrant, colorful, and bubbling geothermal area on the Reykjanes Peninsula. It's rhyolite colors look like you have been transformed to the highlands but you are only a 35 minute drive from the Blue Lagoon.

There is an easy path you can walk to explore this area. The bubbling hot springs are scolding hot, so please stay on the path. You'll know you are close to this site when you smell the sulphur in the air. It smells similar to rotten eggs or as if someone passed gas :-)
