What this waterfall lacks in height, it makes up for in location, width, and beauty. Beljandi is located in a beautiful area and is not that far from the parking lot. You might have noticed that some other waterfalls in Iceland sometimes have flowing water full of sediment or dirt, this one is sparkling clean.

It‘s a nice stop to sit and take in the sites and maybe have a sandwich as you bask in the natural surroundings. Nature photographers love this area as well. Just be mindful that salmon fishing is often happening here, so try to be careful not to disturb the fishermen.

Fun fact - This waterfall is actually split into two, Yrti and Innri, but it can be hard to tell because of the heavy flow of water.
