Rjúkandi waterfall is a hidden in-plain-sight gem located in the beautiful Eastfjords region of Iceland. You can literally see it from the road but most people don’t stop here. This stunning waterfall is surrounded by picturesque landscapes, mountains, and valleys, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers, hikers, and photographers.

The waterfall itself is breathtaking, cascading down from a height of 93 meters (305 feet), creating a stunning misty atmosphere. The sound of the water crashing down is both powerful and soothing, creating a truly magical experience.

The path up to the waterfall is short and easy. Conveniently, it is also only an hour’s drive from Egilsstaðir.
