IT🇮🇹 Con i suoi 84 metri di altezza e i 31 di circonferenza il General Sherman è l'albero più grande del pianeta. E continua a crescere! Si stima che abbia circa 2700 anni. È situato all'interno della Giant Forest del Sequoia National Park. Se avete a disposizione una giornata per visitare il parco (compresi le ore di auto per arrivarci) consiglio di dedicare la visita per lo più a quest'area dedicando alle altre attrazioni il tempo rimanente. Dall'area di parcheggio comincia un facile sentiero. Una volta arrivati di fronte al gigantesco albero potrete seguire per il Congress Trail, un sentiero ad anello di circa 1 ora da cui ammirerete la bellezza della Giant Forest.

EN🇬🇧 With its 84 meters in height and 31 in circumference, the General Sherman is the largest tree on the planet. And keep growing! It is estimated to be around 2700 years old. It is located within the Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park. If you have a day available to visit the park (including the hours by car to get there) I recommend dedicating the visit mostly to this area, dedicating the remaining time to the other attractions. An easy path begins from the parking area. Once you arrive in front of the gigantic tree you can follow the Congress Trail, a circular path of about 1 hour from which you will admire the beauty of the Giant Forest.
