Lake Louise is a stunning destination nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Known for its breathtaking turquoise-colored lake and majestic mountain scenery, it's a place that will leave you in awe. Parking at Lake Louise is easier than at Moraine Lake as there are two parking lots and they are bigger. For sunrise, we arrived by 5am and easily got the spot. It’s a short walk from the parking lot. It was very peaceful until around 6am when a lot of cars arrived. Despite that fact we got a perfect spot for pictures because of early arrival. In case you prefer to take a shuttle instead, I linked the ROAM transit shuttle website below. There is also Parks Canada shuttle available for reservation at https://reservation.pc.gc.ca/. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO BOOK THE TICKETS IN ADVANCE.
There is also canoeing on Lake Louise but I would recommend Moraine Lake for that activity instead. Also multiple trails start at Lake Louise - please see The Beehive and Teahouse in other “Things to do”.
