Brúarfoss is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country. Brúarfoss is very hard to find. It is not indicated. Bruarfoss is located along route 37. You will see a holiday village with wooden chalets. This holiday village is private. It is in this subdivision that the start of the small path leading to the waterfall is found. A white barrier prevents you from entering it. I advise you to wait for a car to open the barrier for you. From the village gate you have to drive about 1.5 km. You have to try to go as far left and at the top of the holiday village in which it is not necessarily easy to find your way around. you have to try to get closer to the river to the west of the village, it is along this river that the small path leads you to the waterfall. From this path, continue for about 1 km on foot and you will easily come across the waterfall. Once there, a bridge allows you to cross over the river and photograph the waterfall from above. Unfortunately, there are many gnats that can spoil this beautiful moment for you.
