Hornbjarg is the stunning cliff-face located in the Hornstrandir Nature Reserve of Iceland's Westfjords region. This awe-inspiring natural wonder is the perfect destination to explore for those looking to venture off the beaten path, as it can only be accessed by travelling by boat or on foot during the summertime. From the top of the impressive 140 metres (460 feet) high cliff, visitors are treated to stunning views of the North Atlantic Ocean and the Westfjord’s majestic coastline. Home to wild Arctic Foxes and a myriad of bird life, the journey up to the top of Hornbjarg is filled with opportunities to soak up the amazing nature reserve and discover some of its unique fauna. Regardless of whether you prefer to take your time by foot or paddle your way across the seas to get there, Hornbjarg is an unforgettable experience that will leave you mesmerized and absolutely stoked!
