Message from Francesco Meola

Baia di Paraggi is a slice of paradise nestled along the Italian Riviera, just a short walk away from Portofino. It has incredible crystal-clear blue waters and stunning views, it's the perfect spot to soak up the sun and relax. It's a great spot if you want to swim as there is a public beach, however, if you want there is also a private beach with chairs and beach umbrellas. Not sure about the cost though, but I imagine it's going to be pretty expensive, probably around €30/50 a day or even more.

In Italy, it's mandatory to have at least a small section of the beach open to the public. So even if it'll probably be very crowded, head to the public beach and enjoy this corner of paradise. Best thing is to go in the morning to get a spot.

How to reach it:

My best advice is either to walk from Santa Margherita Ligure up to here, or take the bus. Scooter is another alternative, but I still think the first two options are the best.
