The Viewpoint of Luigi Guerricchio, also known as the "Three Arches," is a small terrace near Piazza Vittorio Veneto in Matera. It's dedicated to painter Luigi Guerricchio, who hailed from Matera and often painted panoramic views of the city. As you pass through the three arches to reach the terrace, you'll be treated to a stunning overlook of the Sasso Barisano area. It's a great spot to take in the beauty of Matera and snap some stunning photos!

Not everyone loves to wake up at sunrise, me neither honestly, but this spot at sunrise is something magical. I'd definitely recommend waking up early and see it with all the lights on. During the day, you'll might find someone here playing music, it surely creates a beautiful atmosphere as well.

So no matter the time of the time, this spot is one of the best viewpoints in Matera :)
