Along the east side of lake Pukaki Lupins grow with the backdrop of majestic mount cook and New Zealands bluest lake. Note, these flowers only grow late November- early December.

Keep in mind that local councils spray Lupins (they're considered a weed!) but if you're lucky some will still be blooming.
