The Gorge Overlook Trail in North Cascades National Park offers a short and sweet adventure with stunning views of Gorge Creek Falls cascading down a 300-foot granite chasm. The 0.8-mile paved loop takes you past the falls, Gorge Dam, and Gorge Lake, providing a glimpse into Seattle City Light's hydroelectric project history. While the thick vegetation can sometimes block the dam views, it's still a worthwhile stop for a quick nature fix and some cool waterfall vibes. Plus, you might even spot some furry friends tagging along on the trail!
