The Wairere Boulders Nature Reserve and Campsite Park offers an exciting opportunity to explore the wonders of geology and nature. Visitors can traverse through the lush bush walks of the boulder valley, with beautiful sights of natural lava formations, or go kayaking down the Wairere Stream. Highlighting their unique environment, visitors can find Highland Cows grazing over rocky terrain. With views stretching all the way out to Hokianga Harbour from Magic Rock overlooking the top of the hill, visitors can stay the night under some of the clearest skies in the world. Wairere Boulders is open during daylight hours, making it an enjoyable experience to explore this magical atmosphere.
