IT🇮🇹 Nella Wonder Valley, dietro il ristorante The Palms, fanno capolino 16 lettere di legno giganti (simili all'insegna "Hollywood") dipinte d'argento che compongono la scritta "The End of the World". L'opera dell'artista Jack Pierson fa parte della mostra d'arte all'aperto "The Searchers", l'edizione 2022 della biennale High Desert Test Sites.

EN🇬🇧 In the middle of Wonder Valley, behind The Palms restaurant, you will note 16 giant wooden letters (similar to the "Hollywood" sign) painted silver that make up the words "The End of the World." The work by artist Jack Pierson is part of "The Searchers" outdoor art exhibition, the 2022 edition of the biennial High Desert Test Sites. These giant silver letters in the desert offer visitors proof that they have been to the end of the world (especially for those who decide to venture into the area at noon on an August day as we did). The artist for his works recovers and reuses evocative signs from abandoned bars, motels and other establishments. This corner of the Mojave Desert, locally nicknamed Wonder Valley, has long been a haven for artists and other bohemian personalities and exerts a strong pull on anyone who wants to unplug. Other works are located between Pioneertown, Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree and Wonder Valley and believe me-they are a gift to anyone determined enough to find them.
