Cascata do Poço do Bacalhau is a picturesque waterfall located on Flores Island, part of the Azores archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean. The waterfall, about 90 meters high, is one of the island's most famous natural attractions. It cascades into a small lake known as Poço do Bacalhau, surrounded by lush greenery characteristic of Flores.

The site is near the village of Fajã Grande, the westernmost settlement in Europe. Visitors can reach the waterfall via an easy trail starting here, enjoying beautiful natural views along the way. Although the water in the lake is quite cool, some tourists take the plunge to experience the serene environment.

Cascata do Poço do Bacalhau, like all of Flores Island, is an ideal destination for nature lovers, photographers, and those seeking a peaceful retreat.
