This amazing rural retreat was once an old village that was abandoned in the 60s when most of its residents emigrated to the USA. Luckily, a local couple stepped in to bring it back to life, and now their daughter Carlota and her husband Silvio manage the project.

With prices starting at 70€/night, Aldeia da Cuada features 17 charming stone houses, each named after the last person who lived there. The houses vary in size, offering anywhere from 1 to 6 rooms, and all come with gardens overlooking the sea. The complex also boasts a fantastic restaurant (definitely worth a visit!) and a vibrant little chapel for those who might want a spiritual moment.
