This elegant cafe has an old world style, with a grand staircase and lots of artificial flowers brightening up the space. They have two locations in Zurich city, one near Bellevue and one near Zurich main station. Both locations have the same atmosphere and similar menus.
It's a lovely place to indulge in their famous hot chocolate, handmade pastries, delightful cakes, and even ice cream sundaes. We particularly like their apple strudel with vanilla sauce.
They also sell a wide assortment of Teuscher Chocolate's pralines, including the popular renowned Champagne Truffles.
Be warned - the hot chocolate is expensive and whipped cream is extra - CHF 13 total on my last visit. I prefer to order the smaller child's portion, which is more than enough happiness (and calories 😊) for me.
For a slightly less expensive, but perhaps more delicious hot cocoa, try the Sprüngli cafe at Paradeplatz. See more hot chocolate suggestions.
