This easy winter hike starts at the top of the Mattstock chair lift. Then walk to the pass at Hinter Höhi (1400m) with beautiful mountain views the whole way.

We did this winter walk once in late November and loved it. This trail is about 4 km round trip. You just walk as far as you like on the groomed path, then return the same way.

For refreshments, you can make a detour to the snow bar near the ski lift at Strichboden or perhaps to the Holzstübli restaurant near the lift.
