Located in the center of the Zermatt village, Hotel Butterfly is the perfect place to stay if convenience and comfort are priority. Our friends have stayed here on multiple occasions and warm recommend it.

The hotel is only a couple minutes from the Zermatt train station and main shopping street, where you'll find many restaurants and grocery stores. It's also very close to the Gornergrat mountain train and Sunegga funicular, accessing many hiking and mountain biking trails.

They have family rooms that can fit a third bed. Some rooms have balconies with Matterhorn views, worth paying extra for that.

The hotel has a small wellness center with a Finnish sauna and steam bath (open all winter, upon request in summer).
