Wolli Beginner Park is small ski area for children and beginners at the Zermatt Sunnegga mountain.

It has five magic carpets and other play equipment that makes learning to ski fun. This area is primarily used by ski schools, but individuals can use this as well.

How to get there

To get here from Zermatt, you ride the Sunnegga funicular - Vispastrasse 32, 3920 Zermatt.

Then ride the short self-service Leisee funicular down to the beginner area. You can ride the Leisee funicular back up to Sunnegga for toilets and a restaurant. See Wolli Beginner Park on Google Maps.

Tickets

Children age 9 and younger get a free "Wolli Card", which gives them free access to all Zermatt ski lifts including the Wolli Beginner Park.

Older beginners can purchase a "Beginner Ski Pass" which includes access to Wolli Beginner Park and:

  • Funicular Sunnegga and Leisee shuttle to access the beginner park

  • Sunnegga - Blauherd combined lift

  • Chairlifts Eisfluh and Findeln
