Thun Castle, located in the Swiss city of Thun, was built in the 12th century and is now a museum showcasing the region's history. The castle features a well-preserved Knights' Hall and a mix of architectural styles, from Gothic to Bernese.
You can explore the interior of the castle, with museum exhibits on several floors. From the towers, you get a spectacular view across Lake Thun to the mountains. It's a small castle, but well done, with a few interactive elements to help keep you interested and educated.
Location: in the Thun old town on a hill - see location
Open: year round 10:00 - 17:00
