Shichirigahama Beach, located near Kamakura, Japan, is known for its stunning views of Mount Fuji and Enoshima. Despite its name meaning "Seven Ri Beach," it's actually much shorter than that. The dark iron-rich sands were once a hub for sword production in Kamakura. While not as popular for swimming due to its steep drop-off, surfers can be seen catching waves year-round. With historical ties to figures like Minamoto no Yoshitsune and Nitta Yoshisada, as well as being a significant location in Nichiren Buddhism, Shichirigahama Beach offers a mix of natural beauty and cultural significance.
