Kaiate Falls, located in the Bay of Plenty near Tauranga is a beautiful destination for nature-lovers. The falls are formed by nine cascades as the Kaiate Stream drops over ignimbrite bluffs, creating a stunning view. Visitors to this reserve can hike comfortably through the well-formed tracks to reach the top and bottom of the falls, and see the large puriri and kohekohe trees that grow there. As an extra bonus, nearby there is a picnic area with great views of Mount Maunganui and the Port of Tauranga. A perfect place for an outdoor adventure, Kaiate Falls offers a chance to explore and create lasting memories.
