Further information: The Minden Lookout in Tauranga is an awe-inspiring view high above the Bay of Plenty. It stands 286 metres above sea level and offers magnificent views of Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, and Papamoa. One can find a sense of tranquillity as soon as they get there! The lookout used to solely be accessible by car, but walkers can now enjoy the view after a hike in the bush. It was built by the Omokoroa-Te Puna Lions Club and opened in 1978. With its intricate Multi-level structure with open air and covered areas, Picnic tables and metal maps on display, this lookout provides an unforgettable experience. Put the Minden Lookout on your must-see list during your visit to the Bay of Plenty.
