Must-visit chapel in Bergamo

Sightseeing

Message from Francesco Meola

The Colleoni Chapel is a chapel located in the heart of the Upper Town of Bergamo. In my opinion, it's Bergamo's most beautiful historic building!

The chapel is built in the Renaissance style, using marble, sculptures, and colourful frescoes.

If you want to see the chapel from above, then go the Campanone or the Civic Tower, it offers the most incredible view of the chapel and Bergamo.

Unfortunately, I can't show you photos of the inside as they don't allow taking pictures, but it's worth to visit it.

Get lucky! Okay there's a saying here in Bergamo that you have to touch the bull's balls at the gate of the Colleoni Chapel. You'll definitely find it as it has a golden color, it's on the left side of the entrance gate
