Masca is a beautiful, hidden village in the Teno mountains of Tenerife. It is believed by locals to be a former pirate hideaway, and promises stunning views of the iconic canyon that leads down to the Atlantic Ocean. Visitors are invited to explore the village and surroundings and have a nice walk on the cobblestone paths, visit the restaurants to taste local delicious food (must try - fried cheese (queso asado) and canarian potatoes with mojos, or go for a hike down the Masca ravine. With its picturesque atmosphere and unique history, Masca is a must-visit destination on any trip to Tenerife! For the fearless drivers out there, take the infamous winding road up to the village for an exciting journey before arriving at Masca.

• Just make sure to get there early (lack of parking)
• Honk the horn on a tide bend
• Don’t leave anything valuable in the car!
