Agua Garcia is a stunning and unique natural protected area situated in the region of Tacoronte, Tenerife, as well as a charming little town. The old town center of Agua-García has typical Canarian architecture and beautiful cobblestone streets, full of local life.
The forest Agua García with it´s fully accessible route, the perfect spot for wildlife and nature lovers to explore various terrains, from woodland trails and rocky mountain stages, all the way up to its highest peak of 850 meters! There are a few stops on the path to relax and breath in the forest atmosphere.
Somewhere in the middle of the path you will come across small caves, where local children are said to have played in the past.
Whether you’re an active explorer looking for a challenge, or just want to sit back and take in the views and local atmosphere, Agua Garcia promises to provide memorable experience.
TIPS:
• The adventurous trail starts from the side road of "C. Fuentillas" leading to a green forest (exact point on the map)
• The place is chilly and humid most of the year so I recommend to bring a waterproof jacket.
