A river, a play area, a cafe, a lovely walk in the woods, and bike friendly!!! It doesn't get much better than that right??

Alyn Waters Country Park is one of my go-to's for an easy or lazy day outdoors. It's also perfect for toddlers and children who aren't yet up to big walks (walks vary from 1- 4 miles). There's loads of different routes you can walk or cycle depending on ability and how long you want to be out for.

Alyn waters was my go-to day out when my girls were little - We would take their bikes and walk/ride down to the river (about 10/15 minute walk) and play on the little beach there - throwing stones and looking for fish (she would spend hours here if she could) before continuing our ride/walk back over the boardwalk along the river and up to the play area - where I would grab a coffee for me and ice cream for them and spend the afternoon playing in the sand.

Dreamy!
