Gortin Glen Forest Park is situated approximately 16 miles north of Omagh, in County Tyrone. It covers a significant area of woodland and is nestled in the scenic Sperrin Mountains.

Gortin Glen offers a network of walking trails suitable for various fitness levels. A series of signposted trails start from the checkpoint in the main parking area. To date, there are 3 hiking loops to try out:
The Nature trail: 2km, easy level
The Pollan trail: 2km, easy level
Ladies View Trail: 3.5km, moderate level ( Sections have steep gradients)
🚗If you want to skip a walk , there’s also an alternative: the Forest Drive. It’s an 8-km panoramic drive, with remarkable views of the forest. The road makes it easy to stop and enjoy. Get ready for breathtaking scenery!
🧺 Gortin Glen Forest Park has designated picnic areas, allowing visitors to enjoy the natural surroundings while having a picnic.
🦌Gortin Glen also includes a deer park, where you can spot Sika Deer.
