What to See and Do in Brienz:

💦Lake Brienz

The village of Brienz is beautifully situated on the shores of Lake Brienz, known for its crystal-clear waters and vivid turquoise hues. The lake is a natural playground offering activities such as swimming, boating, and fishing. You can take a relaxing boat ride across the lake, offering incredible views of the surrounding mountains and quaint villages along the shore. The Brünig Pass, which separates Lake Brienz and Lake Lucerne, provides an incredible panoramic backdrop.

🚂Brienz-Rothorn Railway

One of the top things to do in Brienz is ride the famous Brienz-Rothorn Railway, a historic steam train that takes you from the village of Brienz up to the summit of Mount Rothorn. This thrilling journey offers unforgettable views of the Lake Brienz, the Jungfrau mountains, and the surrounding Swiss Alps. At the summit, you can enjoy hiking trails, panoramic vistas, and even a visit to the summit restaurant to warm up and enjoy local Swiss specialties.
