The Passo Giau, also known as Giau Pass, is a high mountain pass in the Dolomites of Italy, reaching an elevation of 2,236 metres. It connects Cortina d'Ampezzo with Colle Santa Lucia and Selva di Cadore, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks of Nuvolau and dell'Averau.

The road up from Selva di Cadore has some hairpin turns and tunnels, while the route towards Cortina is more manageable. It really is a must see! It's a popular spot for cyclists during events like the Maratona dles Dolomites race, but winter can bring challenges with avalanches blocking parts of the road. So please be careful in winter!

Overall, it's a stunning and adventurous route through the picturesque Dolomite landscape, weather permitting, that you cannot miss!
