The Merchant Hotel is a luxury five-star hotel located in the Cathedral Quarter, in the heart of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Renowned for its opulent design, historic setting, and high-end amenities , the Merchant hotel is housed in a former bank building dating back to the mid-19th century. The architectural style is Victorian, and the hotel's exterior is an iconic part of Belfast's cityscape.

The Merchant Hotel offers a range of luxurious accommodations, including rooms and suites. Each room is elegantly designed with a combination of classic and contemporary elements.

The hotel boasts several dining options. The Great Room Restaurant is one of my favourite Afternoon Tea dining areas! The service is impeccable , offering a selection of teas, sandwiches, and pastries in a sophisticated setting.

Berts Jazz Bar is known for its live jazz performances, while The Cloth Ear offers a more casual pub-style experience.

🍸The Merchant Cocktail Bar is a popular spot for guests offering an extensive selection of cocktails and stylish ambiance.

One of my favourite experiences during a stay at The Merchant Hotel is the luxurious spa and wellness center. You can indulge in a range of treatments, including massages, facials, and beauty therapies.

With a stay a The Merchant Hotel, you have access to a rooftop gym with modern fitness equipment and phenomenal views of the city.

The hotel's location in the Cathedral Quarter provides easy access to cultural attractions, theaters, galleries, and entertainment venues in Belfast.

Due to the hotel's popularity and reputation for luxury, it's advisable to make reservations well in advance, especially for dining or special events.
