Looking Glass Rock is an iconic hike near Brevard, NC. This hike is about 45 minutes from downtown Asheville and a great day trip if you're staying in the area. The full hike is 6 miles round trip and I highly recommend doing the little off shoot that is visible on the Alltrails map. In order not to get lost on the off shoot, you'll want to download the map for offline use.

The very top is gorgeous and well worth the climb. I highly recommend you bring a snack or lunch to have at this spot. The trail head for this spot does not have a ton of parking so I'd recommend getting there in the morning. Please do not park on the road as this is a busy area.
